About Us

Dr. William Morland graduated from Kansas State University in 1970 with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. He and his wife, Dr. Laura Morland, founded the hospital in 1974. Dr. Morland is a large-animal practitioner. He also owns the Flying M Ranch. He enjoys working with his own cattle and back grounding calves. His pets other than his cattle include a Cairn terrier named Bandit and a Yorkshire terrier named Gizmo.

Dr. Laura Morland graduated from Kansas State University in 1971 with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. Dr. Morland is very involved in her community. She has four children and two grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoys raising Yorkies, Cairns and Maltese, and being a grandma.

Dr. Kristal Endicott-Holder graduated in 1998 from the University of Missouri with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. Dr. Holder joined the staff right after graduation. She is a mixed practitioner, enjoying many aspects of both large and small animal medicine. In her spare time she can be found helping Dr. Morland at the Flying M Ranch. Dr. Holder and her husband Troy share their home with four dogs: Nakita – an Akita; Annie – a lab mix; Mandy – a Heeler mix; and Katie – a Cairn terrier. They also have a cat named Cali and one horse.

Dr. Donald Sotta graduated in 1988 from Kansas State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. He joined the staff in 1992. Donnie is a general practitioner. He and his wife Brenda have five children.

Jana Callaway graduated from Colby Community College in 1978 with a Veterinary Technician degree. Jana started at the hospital right after graduating. Jana and her husband Aaron have three children and two granddaughters.

Richard Farley came to the hospital in 1985. He started out as part-time kennel help and has since worked his way up to groomer. With 15 years of grooming under his belt, he has built up a large clientele. In his spare time Richard enjoys playing video games and spending time with his wife Laura. They share their home with two cats, Timber and C.J. and a dachshund named Mandy Dawn.

Becky Mengarelli joined the staff in 2003. She gained her animal knowledge by working 11 years at a humane society. She has been trained on the job to be a veterinary technician. In her spare time she enjoys several hobbies, including art, photography, gardening and baking. Becky and her husband Darin share their small farm with a crew of critters, including three Schnauzers, a Golden Retriever, a Rottweiler, a Chihuahua and several cats, ponies, goats and chickens.

Sheril Weber started at the hospital in 1999 as part-time kennel help. Through her on-the-job training, she has worked her way up to veterinary assistant. She spends most of her spare time taking care of her children, Matthew and Katelynn, and training her adopted mustang Wildfire. Sheril and her fiancé Chris share their home with Daisy, a greyhound; Carmen, a boxer mix; Charlie, a dachshund -- and a cat named Trucker.
